On March 11th, 2024, Rainbow NGO organized the impactful "Swayangsiddha 2024" initiative at Bricks Field, Katwa, marking International Women's Day with a commitment to empowerment and support. This day-long event was a tribute to the resilience and achievements of women, aiming to uplift their spirits and address their practical needs. The project's focal point was the distribution of essential items tailored to enhance dignity and well-being. Twenty-three sarees were distributed, symbolizing grace and cultural heritage, alongside sanitary napkins that underscored health and hygiene priorities. The inclusion of cakes, biscuits for children, and flowers added a festive touch, celebrating both resilience and renewal. Led by Subhadip Ghosh, the initiative resonated deeply within the community, fostering conversations on gender equality and women's rights. Volunteers from Rainbow Society and local communities worked tirelessly, embodying solidarity and support for women's causes.
