On the scorching 1st of May in Katwa, NGO Rainbow launched their impactful project "Trishna" with unwavering dedication. As the mercury soared to a staggering 44 degrees Celsius, many people in the region faced the daunting challenge of enduring relentless heat while carrying out their daily laborious tasks. Amidst this backdrop, where some are fortunate to have access to cool shelters, Rainbow Society's members took proactive steps to alleviate the hardships faced by those working under the scalding sun. Throughout the day, starting from 11:00 AM, Rainbow members distributed essential supplies such as water, ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution), and fruits to the laborers. These provisions not only quenched their physical thirst but also served as a symbol of solidarity and compassion in the face of adversity. Despite the discomfort and extreme conditions, the resilience and grateful smiles of those they assisted underscored the profound impact of Rainbow's intervention. The "Trishna" project exemplifies Rainbow's commitment to addressing immediate needs and providing relief in critical situations.
