Details of execution:
The Gargaria Ashram is run by the Noukaa Foundation lead by the contemporary singer Silajit Majumder for thirty tribal kids originating from places near and around Gargaria, Birbhum. Although the kids were encouraged to study in school, their environment was detrimental to their social upliftment. Educating them about the greatest national hero, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is important for their mental growth but not a simple task especially in a way that can capture the minds of young kids. Members of The Bengal Help Club devised the perfect plan for a fun-filled day with activities ranging from drawing, discussion, picnic, quiz, and book distribution; all themed around the central figure Netaji. The kids not only enjoyed a lot through these activities but also paid homage to Netaji. Shilajit as the lead and the support members were a key figure in helping and empowering the volunteers by providing the right guidance and tools to plan this eventful day and paved the path for future collaboration between Noukaa and Bengal Help Club, something we will see in the next projects listed later in this report.
