Details of execution:
In Belpahari, Jhargram, on 18th December, Rainbow NGO launched the 'Uttap 2022' initiative, a concerted effort to ease the harsh winter conditions facing marginalized communities. Secretary Gouranga Roy and President Swapan Majumdar spearheaded the initiative, supported by SDPO Koushik Basak of Katwa. Despite initial challenges, local members Prosun Kundu and Koushik Halder played crucial roles in ensuring its success. With a total of 53,697 INR in donations, Rainbow NGO procured and distributed 300 blankets and 165 sets of winter clothing for children. Distribution efforts were meticulously planned across remote villages nestled in dense jungles. Each delivery not only provided physical warmth but also symbolized solidarity and community support, strengthening bonds among residents. Venturing through rugged terrain, Rainbow NGO's team reached isolated households, where they were warmly received for their invaluable contributions. In addition to distributing essential items, surplus jackets were donated to a local orphanage, extending the project's impact on vulnerable children. As the day drew to a close, the collective efforts bore fruit, underscoring Rainbow NGO's commitment to social equity and sustainable community development. The initiative not only addressed immediate needs but also empowered residents to face the winter season with dignity and resilience. This initiative exemplifies the transformative power of unified action in fostering inclusive development. Rainbow NGO's 'উত্তাপ 2022' stands as a testament to compassion and effective grassroots engagement, enriching lives and bolstering communal care in Belpahari and beyond.
