Members of these three organizations collaborated and planned for a tree plantation drive in the Gargaria campus of Noukaa on 5th June 2022 to celebrate World Environment Day and to aware local people protect the environment. In the very early morning of 5th June 2022, all in-station members of Bengal Help Club and Aanishwo set off for Suri, Birbhum from Katwa, Purba Bardhaman with different varieties of tree saplings including Mango, Guava, Amlaki, Lichi, Krishnachura etc. The event at Gargaria commenced with the distribution of tree saplings to the kids of Noukaa. Holes were excavated previously to plant saplings. Eminent singer and the head of Noukaa, Mr. Silajit Majumder was also present on the occasion to encourage the kids. Mr. Majumdar and some of our members briefed the importance of planting trees to the kids and local people, present there. Kids were given a contractual paper that takes a vow that they would take utmost care of the planted sapling throughout the year and again on the next environment day in 2023, members of Bengal Help Club and Aanishwo will inspect the growth of trees.
