1. Project Overview
Delivery workers form an essential part of modern urban life, ensuring that medicines, books, food, and daily necessities reach people on time—often under harsh weather conditions and without adequate rest. Despite their indispensable service, they rarely get the opportunity to celebrate festivals with their families, especially on emotionally significant days like Bhai Phonta.
To honor their dedication and bring joy to their festive morning, Rainbow Welfare Society, Katwa, organized a community Bhai Phonta ceremony exclusively for delivery workers. The initiative aimed to acknowledge their hard work, offer emotional warmth, and create a sense of belonging.
2. Objectives
#To recognize and appreciate the relentless service of delivery workers.
#To provide them with a moment of celebration on a day they often miss due to work.
#To promote compassion, inclusivity, and community bonding.
#To set an example of extending festival warmth beyond traditional family boundaries.
