This project entitled “Multiuse Canopy” is fabricated to design a canopy that is adjustable and easy to use on the boat. This project focuses on the problem of canoes not having a nice canopy and this product is design to help the citizen in the rural area where they are doing agriculture activity for a living. A boat that does not have a canopy causes passengers or drivers to not see clearly due to the hot light and it is very important for us to have the canopy and protect ourselves from heat and rain. As we know, the weather in Malaysia is either scorching hot or storming rain. So, to help this villager or citizen that live near the river or sea to have some protection from sun and rain. This will help them to at least do their agriculture activity without worrying of getting sick from the weather. Moreover, this product can also been used on different boat and also can be used on the land. The purpose of this project is to suggest community comfort and make it easier for the community to attach the canopy on the sampan and it is easy to carry anywhere. This project also has the advantage of being adjustable and has wheels. The purpose of this project is to make it easier and more convenient for the users as they do not have to expend a lot of energy to carry and install on the boat.
