SOLAR POWERED ULTRASONIC BIRD REPELLENT

Green technology is an umbrella term for technology and science that creates products to be environmentally friendly. The goal of green technology is usually to protect the environment from pollutions or ecological disaster. There are plenty of methods for green technology such as the use of renewable energy resources to reduce carbon emissions into the atmosphere. One of those renewable energy resources is sunlight that can generate solar energy, which is a cleaner energy resources than using coal or fuel. On the other hand, the presence of birds can be damaging to the environment of an area as they will leave their droppings to at the area. Causing the area to be filthy and uncomfortable to stay at. With our project titled Solar Powered Ultrasonic Bird Repellent,we are able to create a device to repell any birds while using green technology. This project is focused on the problem faced by the staff and students at the Mechanical Engineering Department which is the presence of birds in the foyer area. Our project is designed to repell those birds using ultrasonic frequency while being generated with solar energy. This device is also equipped with Pir motion sensors to detect these bird when entering the foyer area.
