DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF SAGO TREE TRUNK SPLITTER MACHINE

This “design and analysis of sago tree trunk splitter machine” project was a concept to split the sago tree trunk into smaller piece. A one meter long sago tree trunk that has been placed in this machine will be pushed with a hydraulic cylinder until it splits by blade. The most critical part in this machine is to design and select the best material for the blade. Catia software was used to estimate the displacement and stress on design and material.
