PRIVACY POLICY — STUDENT PLANNER

This Privacy Policy applies to Student Planner ("Application"), an all-in-one academic organizer for tracking timetables, assignments, grades, attendance, notes, and contacts.
SHORT VERSION
Student Planner doesn't require an account. Your timetable, agenda, grades, attendance records, notes, and contacts live in your browser's local storage — nothing personal is sent to us to use the app.
1. WHAT THIS APP DOES
Student Planner is a self-contained academic organizer where you can manage a class timetable, exam/quiz agenda, grades, attendance, subject notes, and a contacts list (e.g. teachers or classmates). Agenda items can trigger local reminder notifications on your device. Some sections (Agenda, Grades, Attendance, Notes, Contacts, and Settings) may require unlocking, which can be done by choosing to watch a short rewarded video.
2. INFORMATION STORED BY THE APP
The following is stored locally in your browser (via localStorage) so it persists across visits, until you clear it yourself:
Your timetable, agenda entries (exams/quizzes), grades, attendance records, and subject notes
Contact entries you add (e.g. name, subject, phone number, email address)
App settings and preferences
The following is stored only for your current browser session (via sessionStorage) and clears automatically when the session ends:
Your unlocked-access status (unlocks last 30 minutes after watching an ad)
None of this data — including any contact details you enter — is sent to us or to any server we operate. It stays on your device.
3. NOTIFICATIONS
If enabled, Student Planner can schedule local reminder notifications on your device for agenda entries (e.g. upcoming exams or quizzes). These reminders are generated and delivered entirely on-device and are not sent through or stored on our servers.
4. AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED INFORMATION
Like most web and mobile apps, basic technical information may be collected automatically when you use Student Planner, including:
IP address
Device model and operating system
App/browser usage statistics
Crash reports
Date and time of use
Features accessed within the app
Student Planner does not collect precise location information and does not access your device's camera, microphone, or address book.
5. PERSONAL INFORMATION & ACCOUNTS
Student Planner does not require you to create an account or sign in. Any personal information you enter — such as contact names, phone numbers, or email addresses — is provided voluntarily by you, stored only on your device, and never transmitted to us.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Student Planner may use third-party services that collect information under their own privacy policies, including:
Google Play Services
Google AdMob
The rewarded-video "Watch Ad to Unlock" flow is served through an ad provider such as AdMob, which may collect information necessary to serve ads, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance.
7. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Information may be disclosed only:
When required by law
To comply with legal obligations
To protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the app provider
To trusted service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. ad or analytics providers)
8. DATA RETENTION
Your timetable, agenda, grades, attendance, notes, and contacts remain in your browser's local storage until you delete them yourself or clear your browser data — they are not automatically erased. Unlock status is session-based and clears when the session ends. Automatically collected technical information (Section 4) may be retained only as long as necessary for analytics, security, legal compliance, and service improvement.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Student Planner may be used by students under 13 with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; any data entered into the app (including contact details) is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to us. Parents or guardians with questions about a child's use of the app may contact us using the details below.
10. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect information handled by the app. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure.
11. YOUR CHOICES
You can delete individual entries (agenda items, grades, attendance records, notes, or contacts) at any time within the app. Clearing your browser's local storage or uninstalling the app will remove all saved data. You can also disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of Student Planner after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
13. YOUR CONSENT
By using Student Planner, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
