This Privacy Policy applies to Pick-Up Line Collection ("Application"), an app for browsing, favoriting, and sharing pick-up lines by category.
SHORT VERSION
Pick-Up Line Collection doesn't require an account. Your favorites and preferences live in your browser's local storage — nothing personal is collected to use the app.
1. WHAT THIS APP DOES
Pick-Up Line Collection lets you browse categorized pick-up lines, save your favorites, copy or share individual lines using your device's native share function, and customize settings like your last-viewed category. Some categories may require unlocking, which can be done by choosing to watch a short rewarded video that unlocks all categories for 30 minutes.
2. INFORMATION STORED BY THE APP
The following is stored locally in your browser (via localStorage) so it persists across visits, until you clear it yourself:
Lines you've marked as favorites
App settings, including your last-viewed category
The following is stored only for your current browser session (via sessionStorage) and clears automatically when the session ends:
Your unlocked-category status (unlocks last 30 minutes after watching an ad)
None of this data is sent to us or to any server we operate. It stays on your device.
3. SHARING FEATURE
If you use the "Share" button, the app hands the selected line off to your device's native share function (or copies it to your clipboard), letting you choose where to send it — such as a messaging app of your choice. We do not see or store what you share or who you share it with.
4. AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED INFORMATION
Like most web and mobile apps, basic technical information may be collected automatically when you use Pick-Up Line Collection, including:
IP address
Device model and operating system
App/browser usage statistics
Crash reports
Date and time of use
Features and categories accessed within the app
Pick-Up Line Collection does not collect precise location information.
5. PERSONAL INFORMATION & ACCOUNTS
Pick-Up Line Collection does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to browse content or save favorites.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Pick-Up Line Collection may use third-party services that collect information under their own privacy policies, including:
Google Play Services
Google AdMob
The rewarded-video "Watch Ad to Unlock" flow used to unlock all categories is served through an ad provider such as AdMob, which may collect information necessary to serve ads, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance.
7. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Information may be disclosed only:
When required by law
To comply with legal obligations
To protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the app provider
To trusted service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. ad or analytics providers)
8. DATA RETENTION
Your favorites and settings remain in your browser's local storage until you clear your browser data or uninstall the app — they are not automatically erased. Category-unlock status is session-based and clears when the session ends. Automatically collected technical information (Section 4) may be retained only as long as necessary for analytics, security, legal compliance, and service improvement.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Pick-Up Line Collection is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover personal information from a child has been collected, it will be deleted as soon as reasonably possible.
10. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect information handled by the app. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure.
11. YOUR CHOICES
You can remove individual favorites, or clear all saved favorites, at any time within the app. Clearing your browser's local storage or uninstalling the app will remove all saved data. You can also stop all data collection by uninstalling the app (on mobile) or simply no longer visiting it (on web).
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of Pick-Up Line Collection after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
13. YOUR CONSENT
By using Pick-Up Line Collection, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
