This Privacy Policy applies to NutriDose — Vitamins, Minerals & Nutrition Guide ("Application"), an educational reference app covering vitamins, minerals, nutrition facts, and food quizzes.
SHORT VERSION
NutriDose doesn't require an account and doesn't save any personal data between visits. Nothing about your searches, quiz answers, or unlocked content is stored beyond your current session.
1. WHAT THIS APP DOES
NutriDose is a reference and educational app covering vitamins, minerals, and nutrition topics — including function, deficiency signs, toxicity/overdose thresholds, and drug or supplement interactions — plus food facts and short knowledge quizzes. Deeper details (such as overdose risk, interaction data, and advanced tips) may require unlocking, which can be done by choosing to watch a short sponsor video that unlocks that content for 30 minutes.
2. INFORMATION STORED BY THE APP
NutriDose does not save any information between visits. The only thing tracked is:
Your unlocked-content status, held only in your current browser session (via sessionStorage) and automatically cleared when the session ends (unlocks last 30 minutes after watching a sponsor video)
Your quiz answers, browsing activity within the app, and any topics you view are not saved or transmitted anywhere — they exist only while the page is open.
3. IMPORTANT HEALTH DISCLAIMER
NutriDose provides general educational information about nutrition and supplements. It is not medical advice, and it does not diagnose, treat, or provide personalized guidance for any health condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement, medication, or diet — especially regarding dosing, toxicity thresholds, or drug interactions.
4. AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED INFORMATION
Like most web and mobile apps, basic technical information may be collected automatically when you use NutriDose, including:
IP address
Device model and operating system
App/browser usage statistics
Crash reports
Date and time of use
Features and topics accessed within the app
NutriDose does not collect precise location information and does not access your device's camera or microphone.
5. PERSONAL INFORMATION & ACCOUNTS
NutriDose does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information — including health information — to use the app.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
NutriDose may use third-party services that collect information under their own privacy policies, including:
Google Play Services
Google AdMob
The rewarded-video "Watch to Unlock" flow used to unlock advanced content is served through an ad provider such as AdMob, which may collect information necessary to serve ads, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance.
7. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Information may be disclosed only:
When required by law
To comply with legal obligations
To protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the app provider
To trusted service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. ad or analytics providers)
8. DATA RETENTION
Because NutriDose does not persist any user data between sessions, there is nothing app-specific to retain — your unlock status disappears the moment the session ends. Automatically collected technical information (Section 4) may be retained only as long as necessary for analytics, security, legal compliance, and service improvement.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
NutriDose is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover personal information from a child has been collected, it will be deleted as soon as reasonably possible.
10. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect information handled by the app. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure.
11. YOUR CHOICES
Since no data persists after your session ends, simply closing the app clears everything associated with your visit. You can also stop all data collection by uninstalling the app (on mobile) or simply no longer visiting it (on web).
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of NutriDose after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
13. YOUR CONSENT
By using NutriDose, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
