This Privacy Policy applies to the RedGreen Flags : Relationship mobile application ("Application"), developed by the Service Provider as a free application. The Application is provided for use "AS IS."
The Application may automatically collect certain information when you use it, including:
Internet Protocol (IP) address
Device model and operating system
Application usage statistics
Crash reports
Date and time of use
Features accessed within the Application
Advertising identifier (used to serve and measure ads)
The Application does not collect precise location information.
RedGreen: Flags in Every Relationship is designed to help users reflect on relationships — with partners, family members, or friends — through a self-assessment quiz that highlights healthy ("green flag") and concerning ("red flag") patterns.
Profiles you create, quiz answers, scores, personal notes, and app settings are stored locally on your device only. This content is never transmitted to the Service Provider or to any server — the Application has no backend and does not sync or back up this data. If you uninstall the Application or clear its storage, this data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Because some of this locally-stored content may be sensitive or personal in nature (for example, notes about a relationship), we want to be clear that the Service Provider never has access to it. It exists only on your device, under the same protections as your device's other local app data.
The Application does not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide personal information to use its core features.
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information according to their own privacy policies. These include:
Google Play Services
Google AdMob, to display advertisements that support the free version of the Application
These services may collect and use data — such as your advertising identifier and device/usage information — to display ads, measure ad performance, and improve service reliability. For details on how Google handles this data, see the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob's data disclosure. You can manage your ad personalization settings through your device's Google Settings.
The Service Provider does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Information may be disclosed only:
When required by law
To comply with legal obligations
To protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the Service Provider
To trusted service providers (such as Google AdMob) acting on behalf of the Service Provider, as described above
Profiles, quiz answers, notes, scores, and app settings are stored only on your device and remain available until you delete them within the app or uninstall the Application.
Automatically collected information handled by third-party services (such as AdMob) is retained according to those services' own retention practices.
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If personal information from a child is discovered, it will be deleted as soon as reasonably possible.
Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are used to help protect collected information. However, no method of electronic storage or Internet transmission is completely secure, and no method used by our third-party service providers can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
You can delete individual profiles, notes, or your entire history at any time from within the Application's settings.
You can stop all information collection by uninstalling the Application using your device's standard uninstall process.
You can limit ad personalization through your device's Google Settings.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date. Continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
By using the Application, you consent to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy.
