Abell Galaxies: See the Slooh Scope tab above or click here for information on Slooh locations, scopes, presets, and weather/sky condition descriptions.
The camera/scopes and image field sizes below were chosen based on the field size provided by the Astronomical League's Program book.
Of the four types in the program (Abell, Additional, Hickson, and Trios) I found Abells the most challenging due to conflicting size information of the groups in the Program's book (charts vs. tables) , small size of the galaxies, and magnitudes less than I could capture.
In the images below north is up and east is left unless otherwise stated.
SkySafari allows custom field of views to .1 degree so only approximate field matching to the Slooh images is possible. I tried my best to match the image field and SkySafari field.
SkySafari settings used for display:
Show stars brighter than magnitude 16 (star limit from the program's book)
Show galaxies brighter than magnitude 17 (approximate limit of Slooh images)
Slooh image
I've included the "Book field size" below to give a better idea of the field representation in SkySafari.
SkySafari view showing galaxies in the Slooh image field.
I've tried my best to accurately represent the field displayed in the book.

Notes: The bright star in the center is HD 1096 with the galaxy PGC 1016 just above and to the left. Tilted PGC 1013 is at the bottom. Zooming in and scanning around shows about ten more almost stellar looking galaxies but nowhere near the 35 listed as being part of this cluster.
The cluster does extend slightly beyond the image and must contain many galaxies dimmer than magnitude 17.

Scrolling around leads to a few areas of interest like PGC 17743 and neighbors 17744, 17754, 17739 and 17742 but the scale needed to capture the 72' group size means that the tiny galaxies are so small that there aren't enough pixels to really see anything but a blob.

Magnitude: 13.8
Number of Galaxies: 36
Size: 68.3’
Book field size: 1.5x1.0 degree
Book cluster circle/rectangle: 0.4 degrees
Notes: This cluster demonstrates a major frustration. The table in the book on page 85 says that the cluster size is 68.3' and I planned my exposure based on that size using Canary Two Ultra Wide (107'x72'). The cluster's drawing on page 93 says the filed is 1.5x1.0 degrees which is about what my image captured. The frustration is that there's a circle in the middle of the drawing that I'd guess is the group's real size. That circle is only 1/3 the vertical field or about 20 arcseconds and that would suggest using Canary Wide Field with a FOV of 43'x43'. With Slooh both are actually taken at the same time but for an unknown reason the Wide Field image for this one is bad. My dilemma is do I re-shoot this or give it an oh well. I'm inclined to do the oh well since I've already invested more time into this that I would have spent looking through my 12 inch dob and scribbling something like:
"A fairly small group of galaxies. The brightest galaxy in this group is NGC 2329 which is a lenticular galaxy that appears as diffused circular shape of like. The center core is stellar like and the lightness softens as you move away from the center."
Yep, I can see NGC 2329 in the image.

Name: Abell 2151
RA: 16h 05.2m
DEC: +17d 42m
Magnitude: 13.8
Number of Galaxies: 87
Size: 68.3’ Hercules Cluster
Book field size: 45.9'x30'
Notes: If it has a name (Hercules cluster) it must have something to show. A string of visible NGC and IC galaxies run east/west across the center of the image... IC 1185, IC 1184, IC 1182, NGC 6054, NGC 6050, IC 1179, NGC 6047, NGC 6045, NGC 6043, NGC 6039, NGC 6041, and NGC 6040 with others scattered around the image. All can be seen in the zoomed image.
The bright star on the right is HD 144149.

DEC: +16d 24m
Magnitude: 13.8
Number of Galaxies: 60
Size: 68.3’
Book field size: 45.9'x30'
Notes: After Abell 2151 this seems to be a letdown. Nothing visible in the Slooh original sized image and only fifteen or so galaxies I'm sure of by zooming and scrolling. There must be lots of ones that look stellar.

DEC: +39d 30m
Magnitude: 13.9
Number of Galaxies: 88
Size: 65.4’ N 6166 group
Book field size: 30.6'x20'
Notes: The two most notable galaxies in this cluster are NGC 6166 in the center and NGC 6158 about half way from there to the lower right corner. Scrolling around the center of the image shows at least twenty fuzzy patches that are large enough to be galaxies.

DEC: +81d 36m
Magnitude: 15.3
Number of Galaxies: 35
Size: 34.7’ UGC 10638 chain
Book field size: 18.4'x12'
Notes: The SkySafari field from the book (18'x12') is very small and doesn't line up very well with the center of the Slooh image (37'37'). The arc of galaxies in the very small rectangle field of SkySafari are in the left side of the Slooh image.
I think the area is impressive enough to include an enlargement of that area. Wow!

Notes: The only NGC in the field is 6331 but SkySafari doesn't show it so I have it highlighted. It is listed as magnitude 17.0. There are a couple of other nice galaxies around it too.
The really bright star on the left is SAO 8727.
