The images below were taken with Slooh telescopes. Information on the telescopes can be found by clicking on the Slooh Telescope Information tab above or going to the bottom of this page. The images themselves can be seen by navigating the directories shown at the bottom of this page.
Slooh does not report seeing or transparency for the images. Slooh does provide a sky rating for the imaging but it is rough guess as to cloud cover and not available after that evening.
Locate, identify and observe two or more items in the eyepiece at the same time. Many items on the list have more than two objects, try to see as many as possible, a minimum of two is required and identify those which you observed.
Observe at least 100 groupings on the list - out of the 114. Some items on the list are a challenge, so if you can’t see them, there are others to choose from. Items 109 to 114 allow you to do your own favorite items. However, you may only do a maximum number of 15 “make up your own” objects.
Record your observations for each item on log sheets that include:
Date and Time (local or UT)
Object observed
Observer's Latitude and Longitude
Seeing and Transparency
Brief listing of items seen in each observation
Simple sketch showing relative sizes and positions
Size of instrument
Eyepiece size
Magnification
Note in your logs if you used a “Go-To” telescope or used imaging
For those doing this with imaging please include the type of camera used in your log.
The plate solved images below give the location of the objects in the field, direction of North/East, and an idea of the field size.
A √ in front of the target names means that all targets can be seen in the image

Notes: King 14 is the loose open cluster between and below the two other NGC targets in the field. The bright star at the bottom is kappa Cas. NGC 133 is an upside down Y above and to the right of the image center. The bright white vertical bar is cause by a bad camera. You'll see it frequently with Canary Two Wide Field images. The white line passes through NGC 146 just below the height of NGC 133. All things considered two very poor open clusters in terms of viewing.
