Bringing Lunar Exploration Back Into the Limelight
After the victorious launch of the Artemis I mission on November 16, 2022, NASA announced plans for an ongoing Artemis program. Artemis I successfully launched an uncrewed Orion spacecraft around the Moon, and Artemis II will run the same mission with the first crewed flight test. Artemis III aims to conduct the first crewed landing on the Moon.
American women have always had to fight for autonomy. From voting rights to birth control access, feminists have been working to protect women’s liberties for centuries. However, these advances are now at risk of reversal. On Friday, April 21, the US Supreme Court ruled on the fate of millions of livelihoods.
This should be the first thing anyone learns to cook because, with it, you can magically transform any meal into something fit for a royal palate. I make this when the farmers’ market is bursting with red treasures. But supermarket tomatoes are fine, too -- especially if your aim is just to make a very spicy condiment to pep up other foods.

With the third season of "Mandalorian" ending, it felt reasonable to review not only season three, but the show as a whole.

One thing I find very important, especially in today’s polarized society, is to be able to critique and debate ideas in a rational manner. In last month’s spectrum issue, Talia Reiss wrote an article entitled “Opinion: Children Are Not Safe Under Republican Lawmakers.” It argued that, because Republicans support gun rights and don’t support children being able to see drag shows or obtain so-called “gender affirming healthcare,” they cannot be a pro-children party. There are many things wrong with this article.
Throughout the year, we have seen several accomplishments in Nyack Athletics, with athletes shattering record mile times and reaching one thousand career points on the basketball court. Recently, sophomore lacrosse player Kate Gould reached an important milestone, scoring one hundred varsity career goals.

How To Create A Feminist Classroom
Recently, members of this staff attended an environmental conference at St. Thomas Aquinas College at which we were asked to collaborate with students from other Rockland County schools. But despite the event’s focus on justice, we found the academic culture disappointingly exclusive.
