What do you picture when you hear the word gossip? You probably imagine a group of women whispering in the hallways or spilling secrets over a cup of coffee. Most people exclusively associate gossip with women; only women gossip and the only thing women do is gossip.

While directing creative design at the Association of Future African Neurosurgeons, Ibe became interested in medical illustrations and spent a year learning to draw anatomy.

Opinion: Nyack Bathrooms Need Better Period Products
By Brinn Adler and Ket Rossiter
An estimated 50% of the people at Nyack High School have a period, yet little is being done to aid those who menstruate. Periods can be unpredictable; they can stop for weeks, decide to not show up, or come earlier than expected. Not everyone is prepared when they get their period.

Exclusive Interview With Nyack Nation
Nyack Nation keeps the crowd hyped at sporting events and updates the Nyack High School community with athletic information. The four Nyack Nation members (Noah Kronberg - Senior, Erin Bean - Senior, Amber McDonald - Junior, and Robert Royston - Senior) are superior athletes at Nyack themselves, so I interviewed them about their experiences as athletes and Nyack Nation representatives.

I make potato puffs when I need to feel that everyone loves me. Feeling unloved is one of the principal occupational hazards of being a poet, I have found. It is hard to write poems. So often they are full of pain and the truth that causes pain. A good kind of pain, but pain nonetheless. Writing is like going away someplace far and remote, full of loneliness. Stones and air. The threat of storm and darkness. When I come back to myself, in a warm chair and with my chin in hand, I even feel sometimes that I have become stone. Putting a few potatoes in a pressure cooker dispels that feeling pretty effectively. A soft love helps.
"How has womanhood impacted your life?"
Overall, I think my womanhood has given me a reason to be confident in myself. Seeing other women being successful and living their lives shows me ways that I want to live my life. The important women in my life have shown me how to be my best self: kind, brave, confident, and feminine. Being a girl is an essential part of my identity and has shaped who I am today. I take pride in being a young woman and strive to always overcome the barriers that are placed in front of me because of my gender and defy expectations. - Kayleigh O'Donnell, Junior
"What is your favorite part about being a girl?"
"My favorite part about being a girl is the sense of community and understanding we have with each other. I love that I have the ability to surprise the world with what I can do since there will be many disbelievers. Being a girl also comes with many perks like having an entire field of study dedicated to learning about women and getting cheaper car insurance."
"How has gender impacted your life?"
"Each gender has specific societal stereotypes which explain how to act, dress, and speak. Things like hobbies are even divided, so staying true to myself despite others opinions has been a complicated but entertaining journey. Also, learning about the gender inequality women around the world face every day is both horrific and inspiring because although I wish those women never experienced it, I am inspired to help them." -Shana Hatia, Senior
"Talk about an important woman in your life."
"The odds that I am the son of my mother makes me one of the luckiest people in the world." -Michael Kim, Junior
"Talk about an important woman in your life."
"A female figure who has had a significant impact on my life is my mom. She has always made sure to provide for her family before herself, even in the little ways. Whenever I’m stressed or unsure, I know I can always come to her and she’ll offer her advice, which has become invaluable as I transition into my junior year.” -Daniel Anton, Junior
