What is your favorite part about being a girl?
"My favorite part about being a girl is the sense of community and understanding we have with each other. I love that I have the ability to surprise the world with what I can do since there will be many disbelievers. Being a girl also comes with many perks like having an entire field of study dedicated to learning about women and getting cheaper car insurance."
How has gender impacted your life?
"Each gender has specific societal stereotypes which explain how to act, dress, and speak. Things like hobbies are even divided, so staying true to myself despite others' opinions has been a complicated but entertaining journey. Also, learning about the gender inequality women around the world face every day is both horrific and inspiring because although I wish those women never experienced it, I am inspired to help them." -Shana Hatia, Senior
