Springy is cunning, but he’s too naive to actually do anything evil. Just like the time when he warned Nor and Stretcher in the hospital, it could be seen that he has some semblance of empathy, or something like it. He seems to like interacting with people by waving at them and such, despite being such a tiny little guy!! 

A tiny little man from goop’s army would most likely prefer to appear threatening, as their small size doesn’t offer too much in defense. This could suggest that Springy may be stronger than he appears, as the stronger the person-the nicer they’ll most likely be.
