Doom never really liked his parents, both of them were terrible at taking care of him and were constantly drunk and arguing with each other when he grew up as a teenager. Aside from his parent's bullshit, it's not like he did good at school as well, he was constantly procrastinating on stuff he was supposed to do and was lazy in general. He didn't have much friends as he was a heavy introvert. The only thing he liked about school was writing and drawing. He felt like both of those were his main interest and the only "thing" he could actually do. Not many teachers or people around his life believed that he could succeed and get jobs doing that, but for him it's not like he could do other stuff anyway, so he gave it a shot. During high school sophomore year, he met Marion, a guy that was soon to be his best friend. Marion helped Doom go to the more positive side of life and even hanging out often. He always cared for him and never neglected him in some way.

In college, he majored in Digital Arts and English. He also got a side job in a uber drives for earning money. He still sometimes struggled but he could do a lot better than before in high school. Around this time, he met Waylen and Austin. However, instead of Waylen and Austin being good friends like any other person, they used and manipulated Doom for money which happened for a bunch of months. He eventually cut ties with them but that resulted with him losing a bunch of hard earned money and his depression worsening. Adding from this, he also got into a huge fight with his parents at the same time, which made him cut ties with them too. Marion being now his best friend helped him get through this hard part of his life and with Cobalt joining in as well somewhere this time as Doom met him. After Doom had graduated, he eventually gets a better job and has more support than usual, thanks to his best friend and boyfriend. Until now, he's writing and doing art in his apartment so he could try to get some good money out of it.
