Past Presentations
From Dr. Silva for Academic year 2024-2025:
As part of the Academic Teams’ commitment to providing comprehensive educational resources, I wanted to inform you of our lecture repository on the Share Drive. This repository is designed to enhance your understanding of medical conditions/treatment options and to serve as a quick reference source. The Share Drive will replace the previous Google Drive collection; we felt this would be the best option as it can be accessed from our work computers.
To access the lecture repository and resources, please follow these steps:
Navigate to the Family Medicine Share Drive Folder: In the search bar at the bottom of your screen, copy and paste the following “\\cpenfs01\dept$\Director of Medical Services\Family Medicine” then hit enter.
Find the Academic Resources Folder: Once in the Family Medicine Share Drive folder, navigate to “ACADEMIC RESOURCES.” You will find a collection of materials organized by specialty. Browse through the available resources and download those relevant to you.
Add the Folder to Your Favorites: Return to the Family Medicine Share Drive folder, then right click “ACADEMIC RESOURCES.” To make this a favorite, select “Pin to Start” (this will make the folder available on your tool bar at the bottom of your screen) or “Pin to Quick Access” (this will make the folder available on the left-hand side of your folder tab).
Stay Updated! We will regularly update the repository with new lectures and supplemental materials, so be sure to check back often for the latest additions.
Thank you again for your dedication! If you presented this academic year, please send us your slides so we can include it in the repository. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or concerns.
To access the old repository of lectures:
Family Medicine Residents and Faculty,
Please find below a link to the Google Drive where we will be storing all of the lectures, presentations, and additional resources (journal articles, charts, etc) from this year’s (and subsequent years) academics sessions. This is arranged by both date and body system so hopefully it is easy to find the resource you are looking for. Eventually this should be linked to the Residency Website as well. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to access Google Drive from work computers as DHA has now blocked the Firefox work around in addition to all other browsers. Thus I recommend forwarding this link to your personal e-mail so you can access it from a personal computer. I am currently working on setting up a mirror repository on the NHCP Sharedrive so we can access the information from work computers and will let you know when that is available.
