MATCHES TO BE PLAYED ANY MORNING (OR AFTERNOON) TO BE FINISHED BY 4pm

3 dates to be offered by home team

Only open to regular nominated Bateson league players

Any number of teams may enter from each club teams not necessarily to be mixed pairs

Fee £1 per player.

Report on Final

The semifinals were very close matches with Keith Hughes and David Brown beating David Chapman and Julian Coady on the last end to each the final.

The second semifinal between John and Marcia Smirthwaite and David and Lacey Dearlove was nearly as close with the Dearloves just one shot in

front coming to the last end but winning the last end comfortably !

The final started very evenly but Keith and David pulling away from the Dearloves to win comfortably in the end..

It was a competition played in good weather on a true fast green and in good spirit.

Many thanks to Derek Kirby for his organisation of the event and Graham White and Thirsk for hosting the finals day on their super green.
