Plepared deck planters for planting
Prepared indiviual seed pods for planting - mostly annuals
Sowed seeds in the deck planters
Th Iris in the front finshed blooming. Did not see a flower in bloom
The iris in the back still has flowers

Sowed seeds in individual containers for transplanting
Three dahlia plants cane back
The protected lupines are in flower
The pink philadelphia fleabane (weed/perreniel) look pretty. It is all over the place
The two mums near the deck did not survive
The salvia has mostly finished blooming

It has been hot and humid for the last three days.
Not much rain even though it is predicted
cleaned up and fenced the sprouting dahlia

The clematis has been decimated by the deer
Trimmed the flower remanent of the tree peonies
weeded around the California poppies in the front
leaves turning yellow and dropping off the crab apple (possibly indicating fireblight is still active)

Watered the back including seeds
Weeded the California poppy plants along the rnt circle

Created panting spots for Zinnia in the first cirlce
Applied Weed be gone to the to the overgrown patches in the veggie beds

Fertilized the resprouting Dahlias
Fenced the remaining dahlias in front left against bunnies
Created plannting spots n the back
cleaned up asiatic lillies
tied up the crocosimas

Lost the big branch of the crab apple tree due to high winds.
However it was waiting to happen because of the geometry. I will probably lose the tree as it is also battling 'fire blight'
We are having lot of rains again and the temperature is below avaerage most of the days.
The wood primrose and the maltese cross are in bloom

Chopped the branches blocking the driveway
Blocked the access to Clemantis using tomato cages from the tree peonies as the seers were eating them.
Sprayed weed killer on the veggie beds which was being overrun with weeds
June 20, Sat
watered the seedlings
lightly weeded the deck side bed
Temperatures have been over 6 degrees below normal. Night temeratures are dropping below 50.
Lots of seedlings have still not germinated

One of the weed rimmers is working.
Trimmed the back especially the area arount the tree peonies.
Tied them up too.
Tied up the crocosima in front and the side

Trimmed the trumpt wine
trimmed the low hanging weeping cherry branches

The town sent somebody to cut down the crab apple tree brach and prepare for disposal
June 24, Wed
Sprayed the crab apple with copper fungicide. The dial a spray attached to the garden hose dis work well. It sprayed liberally and almost reache the top of the tree. Trying to keep it alive.
Trimmed the blue spruce of the dried out lower branches
