Hopefully the normal temperature for the next few days will relieve their stress and make them produce.

Aug 4 -Wed

fertilized Crab apple, Weeping cherry, Front Lilac

Finally some rain from a thunderstorm

Lot of cukes

Aug 7 -8 Thu - Fri

Fertilized Blue spruce, Oak, Red maple

Another Heat wave starting tomorrow

Cukes leaves are getting yellow spots

Plum tomatoes are very few and they are statening to ripen

Beans are about done. Will decide on sowing seeds again

Aug 9 - 10 Sat -Sun

Fertilized Red maple, Magnolia, and the evergreens at the back

Walked thru Brighton community garden and some of the plots are impressive..  The beans are doing much better in this heat under full sun than mine

So also some tomatoes.  Not sure why my yield is so little.  same happened last time too

Aug 12 - Tue

Lightly fertilized new plants and watered veggies and deck plants to help with heat wave (watered yesterday new plants both front and back yesterday)

Heard back from tree people recommending removing the crab apple.  Will try to keep it going by myself

Aug 13 - Wed

Severely pruned diseased leaves for cuke plant and sprayed

Trimed old leaves from eggplant

Aug 16 - Sat

Sprayed crab apple bottom

Aug  19 - 21 - Tue - Thu

Rained Tue and turned cold - fall weather

Tied up the plants

Cut of the bent branches from the blue Lilac

Aug 24 - 29 Sun - Fri

Unusually cool
