The crab apple tree branches and leaves got picked up

There has been some rain through storms last two days. Did not water in the heat

Looks like Zinnia is ready for transplant.  Will wait for temperaute to moderate

Something tall is still eating the clemantis  It is not the deer.

Transplanted the sunflower seedlings (deck)

Transplanted the nasturtium (deck)

Transplanted onr marigold (deck)

The new dahlia seeds are taking a long time to sprout

The new coneflower for the deck looks dead

weeded the zinnia oles in the front

Managed to revive the new cone flower after repotting it

Planted zinnia at the back and caged them

raining mostly and could not work on the garden in the evening

fertilized the deck pots

The standard day lillies in the front are doing very well

The primrose is almost done

The shasta daisy is in the prime

The cone flowers in the front are waking up

Added soil to Zinnia spot in the front

Planted Zinnias in front

Lightly watered all plants

Trimmed the Forsythia

Dead headed some flowers

July 9, Fri

Watered before leaving for state college

July 12, Sun

Watered all plants again after returning.

Looked like it was warm and dry.  Did not want to lose the zinnias

The red crocosime is really plentiful everywhere.  

There must be over a thousand daisies

The hydrangea in front right is in bloom.  The left one has very few blooms

The cone flowere is having a show

The red and the orange turned purple

The front circle is really filled with flowers

pulled black  bindweed of the lilac in the deck side area

cut some daisy and croosssima for inside

deadheaded roses and daisies

Some terrorist destoryed two of the zinnia seedlings in front - cut them down and did not eat the leaves (like a vole)

Hand fertilized te new seedlings and the deck plans

July 15, Mon

The outside appeared that a golden light was shining on t due to pollution from Canadian forest fire smoke

Sprayed the crab apple

Sprayed the front garden with miracle grow

July 16, Thu

Wildfire smoke was really bad. Had to wear a mask to work outside

Sprayed the back with miracle grow

Need plant protectors to save the annuals planted

The trumpet vine is showing a lot of blooms this year

The robin has two chicks and probably fly away in a couple of days

July 17 - 22, Fri - Thu

The robins have flown the coop

The re will be no clemantis this year. It has been eaten to the ground 

Rained a lot ( 1 in - Saturday)

Dead headed the shasta daisy

Rained a little on Tuesday

Cut up the bamboo from Jacob

Ordered a rose and two hydrangea from Fast growing trees

July 23, Thu

Prepared planting holes for the hydrangea and rose, and for two snap dragons in front.

Recieved cages for the plants.  Will assemble tomorrow

Will finish planting on Saturday
