Liquid fertilized the still flowering flowers and veggies

Watered all

bought two coneflowers for the deck to replace drying gladioli

Fertilized the front flowers that are blooming or will bloom

potted the new coneflowers

Removed gladioli from deck 

Finally, the deer wiped out the hosta on the garage side

The vole ate most of the new italian beans seedlings on the side plot

It has been cold the past few days

The dahlias have been very slow to flower

The vole now detrsoed the eggplant on the side bed.  It had left it alone all this while

The traps do not seem to work now

Trapped the chipmunk causing havoc in the side veggie bed

Deer's first daytime visit to eat crab apples.  Not bothered by opposite neighbor walking or driving his car out

Soap rinsed all plastics containers for seed sowing

Bought new watering wand

The deer found and ate the dahlia buds before they flowered.  Had to set up bird netting

vegetables are over except for chillies and large tomatoes

The pepper plants are now being eaten in the bed behind the garage

I will let the garden fallow next year.  The yield was disappointing in spite of new soil

Also the garden terrorists are particularly nasty this year

I have to fence my eggplant and hot peppers in the fenced bed.  This is too much work

Things are slow in the garden

Only watering plants that are in bloom because of drought watch.

So far we have had 0.2 inches every 15 days

The weather is gorgeous and mostly sunny and temperatures fluctuate between fall and summer

The mums are starting to bloom

Half the Dahlias have yet to decide if they are going to bloom
