Grade 6- Computers and Digital Literacy:

Students should watch the video that is posted BEFORE working on the assignment. The video explains how to complete the assignment and gives students visual directions of assigned tasks.

Assignments: Analyze how to deal with digital drama, examine who you are talking to online and how to stay safe, demonstrate proper typing practice. Video, independent inquiry and reflection of material.


Grade 7- Computers and Digital Literacy:

Students should watch the video that is posted BEFORE working on the assignment. The video explains how to complete the assignment and gives students visual directions of assigned tasks.

Assignments: Digital Citizenship Hyper doc-specifically private/personal information, cyberbullying, and COPPA law. Students select a topic that was presented and researched and answer questions, create a comic strip to synthesize information, model and reflect on their learning.


Grade 8- Solve IT:

Students should watch the video that is posted BEFORE working on the assignment. The video explains how to complete the assignment and gives students visual directions of assigned tasks.

Assignments: Choice of capstone presentation, discovery of computer programming, build title slide/comic book cover, creation of at least 3 slides or 1 page in comic book depending on choice of presentation tool. All templates, how-to videos, and pertinent information can be found via links in Google classroom.
