8th Math

Week of June 1

Algebra: Students will be learning about the Quadratic Formula (using an interactive Google Slide presentation and some catchy music videos). They will also complete the end of year ungraded "assessment" which is a fact-gathering questionnaire on Edulastic. This all will be due on June 14th.

Week of May 25

You will complete an EOY (End of Year) Assessment based on the standards listed in the table below. Follow the instructions for success:

  • Watch the Helpful Videos

  • Practice some of the IXL skills listed

  • Complete the EOY - Part 1 on Quizizz.


Week of May 18

Algebra: During the first week, we will be learning how to graph quadratic functions. (We will be viewing Khan Academy videos for the concepts, and practicing on Delta Math.) For the second week, we will be doing a "selfie" project to apply what we've learned.

8th grade math -

Algebra - This week in Algebra 1, we will be reviewing everything we've learned so far about Polynomials, and then investigating special cases. We will again use Khan Academy and a Google Form. Virtual Google Meets will be Monday from 10 to 11 or 12 to 1.
