7th Math

Week of May 18

*Note: Two weeks of learning plans are posted due to Memorial Day. Assignments will be due June 1.

The Math 7 Learning Plan for May 18th - May 25th will have students learning more about probability and how to use it to solve problems. The plan is posted to Google Classroom. The plan has three required parts: new content, practice, and a check-in. See the document for full details and all resources. After Google Classroom, students will log into Pearson and will view videos on Pearson and YouTube. Support and extension resources are available.

The Math 7 Learning Plan for May 25th - June 1st will have students reviewing for the Topic 7 Assessment. They will do the Topic 7 Review and email pictures of their work to their teacher. Next, they will take the Topic 7 Assessment before June 1st.


The Compacted Math Learning Plan for May 18th - May 25th will have students studying 3D geometry. Students will first learn about cross sections of prisms and pyramids. They will transition to measuring surface area and volumes of prisms. The plan is posted to Google Classroom. The plan has three required parts: new content, practice, and a check-in. In addition to Google Classroom, students will go to YouTube, GeoGebra, and Pearson.

The Compacted Math Learning Plan for May 25th - June 1st will have students reviewing for the Topic 10A Assessment. They will do the Topic 10A Review and email pictures of their work to their teacher. Next, they will take the Topic 10A Assessment before June 1st.

Math 7

The Math 7 Learning Plan for May 4th - May 11th will introduce students to theoretical and experimental probabilities. They will learn the difference between the types of probabilities and how to use probabilities to make predictions. The plan is posted to Google Classroom. The plan has three required parts: new content, practice, and a check-in. See the document for full details and all resources. After Google Classroom, students will log into Pearson and may be directed to IXL or YouTube based on their needs.

Compacted Math

The Compacted Math Learning Plan for May 4th - May 11th will have students solving problems using scale drawings and using technology to draw quadrilaterals and triangles given certain criteria. The plan is posted to Google Classroom. The plan has three required parts: new content, practice, and a check-in. A YouTube video is linked for each lesson (10-1A, 10-2A, and 10-3A). The Google Slides for each lesson are also linked. The Google Slides include links to activities on the site GeoGebra. See the document for full details and all resources. In addition to Google Classroom, students will go to YouTube, GeoGebra, and Pearson.
