Science:
Evan opened us up with prayer this morning. We read a devotional from Louie Giglio about hurricanes and the power of our God. We filled in a worksheet to review our knowledge of hurricanes then completed a map shading activity to show the various locations of cyclones, typhoons, and hurricanes. We watched a video from Dr. Binocs and finished our time off with an acrostic HURRICANE poem.
Geography:
Jessie led us in the flag salute and Sera read a clue card, which led us to the Asia (perfect for this week). We worked with our teams to solve the code to our safe in the Asia Escape Room. Luckily we all found the code in time! We each wrote something we learned about Asia in the Escape Room on the white board.
IEW:
After discussing our Bible verse for the week, I passed back the Fishing Trip RDs. Caleb read his awesome draft and then we jumped into our group writes. Each table team continued writing the story from the pictures classmates drew last week. ASB stopped by to reward our super readers! To finish off the day, each group read us their imaginative stories.
