Different Times in Different Places

Right now, I'm in New York City. It's daytime, and the sun is shining. But, when I check my clock, I see that in Tokyo, Japan, it's already tomorrow morning! Tokyo is very far away, so their time is ahead of ours by 13 hours.

In London, England, it's 8:00 PM. London is 5 hours ahead of New York. So, when it's bedtime here, it's already evening in London.

And in Sydney, Australia, it's 6:00 AM. Sydney is 14 hours ahead of New York. So, while we're just starting our day here, people in Sydney have been awake for a while.

It's interesting how different places have different times. Some are ahead, and some are behind. It's because the world is so big, and it keeps turning. So, people all over the world are doing things at different times.
