Tuesday 1st April
Recordad revisar las fichas de repaso ya corregidas, para ver los errores.
Repasad con lápiz y papel los dos vocabularios más importantes, ya sabéis el primero que aparece en el tema y el de la story.
Repasad los verbos irregulares y vuestro writing.
Repasad los apuntes de la web sobre el pasado simple verbos regulares e irregulares.
Como tenéis el enlace en vuestro libre podéis escuchar la story, canción, ejercicios de listening,..
Por último haced en la libreta estos ejercicios que os pongo aquí ( primo hermano del que saldrá en el control).
Recordad NO PAIN, NO GAIN... Sin trabajo, no hay recompensa.

Os dejo la solución al ejercicio de las oraciones con verbos irregulares, del test que hemos hecho el viernes. ( forma afirmativa)
Write in English.
· María tuvo un problema el lunes pasado.
María had a problem last Monday.
· Nosotros fuimos a Italia hace dos años.
We went to Italy two years ago.
· Ella tomó una fotografía de sus amigos el año pasado.
She took a photograph of her friends last year.
· El tiempo estuvo soleado la semana pasada.
The weather was sunny last week.
· Ellos estaban nerviosos por el examen de ayer.
They were nervous about yesterday's exam.
· Sergio leyó un libro nuevo el fin de semana.
While "They were nervous about the exam" es más natural y común en el inglés diario.
"They were nervous for the exam" se puede interpretar como:
Ellos estaban nerviosos para el examen.
Sergio read a new book at the weekend.
· Yo escribí una historia hace dos años.
I wrote a story two years ago.
· Mi hermano compró un coche nuevo hace un mes.
My brother bought a new car a month ago.
· Lynn hizo un delicioso pastel el lunes pasado.
Lynn made a delicious cake last Monday.

Os dejo un ejemplo de writing con el vocabulario del tema. Intentad hacer algo similar.
My last weekend
First, I went shopping with my mum. We needed ingredients for a special cake and we bought a present for my brother’s birthday a colourful toy car.
After shopping, I went to the park. It was a sunny day, and sI took some photos of the ducks swimming in the pond. I also saw friends from my class, and we played tag.
When I got home, I made a cake with my mum. It was a chocolate cake, my brother's favourite. Then, I read a book about a wild animals.
At three o'clock, it was time for my piano lesson. I practiced until four o'clock.
Later, I saw my grandparents on a video call. They lived in Madrid, so video calls were the best way to chat. They told me funny stories, and I showed them my photos from the park.
Before dinner, I wrote a story about a magical cat. I loved writing!
Finally, after a delicious dinner of spaghetti, I felt very tired. It was a wonderful Saturday!

Pasado Simple verbos irregulares
Verbos irregulares
A diferencia de los verbos regulares, que añaden "-ed" al final en pasado simple, los verbos irregulares cambian su forma de manera diferente.
No hay una regla fija para cómo cambian, por lo que es necesario memorizarlos.
Reglas básicas
1. Forma afirmativa:
o Sujeto + verbo irregular en pasado simple.
o Ejemplos:
§ "I ate pizza" (Comí pizza).
§ "She wrote a letter" (Ella escribió una carta).
§ "We saw a movie" (Nosotros vimos una película).
2. Forma negativa:
o Sujeto + "did not" (didn't) + verbo en infinitivo (forma base).
o El auxiliar "did" indica el pasado, por lo que el verbo principal vuelve a su forma base.
o Ejemplos:
§ "I didn't eat pizza" (No comí pizza).
§ "She didn't write a letter" (Ella no escribió una carta).
§ "We didn't see a movie" (Nosotros no vimos una película).
3. Forma interrogativa:
o "Did" + sujeto + verbo en infinitivo (forma base) + "?".
o Ejemplos:
§ "Did you eat pizza?" (¿Comiste pizza?).
§ "Did she write a letter?" (¿Escribió ella una carta?).
§ "Did they see a movie?" (¿Vieron ellos una película?).

Os dejo las reglas básicas para trabajar con los verbos regulares. Las comentaremos el próximo día.
PASADLAS A LA LIBRETA
Past simple regular verbs
El pasado simple se utiliza para hablar de acciones completadas en un tiempo específico del pasado. Para formar el pasado simple con verbos regulares, se añade la terminación "-ed" al final del verbo en infinitivo.
Reglas generales:
Añadir "-ed" a la mayoría de los verbos:
work - worked
play - played
start - started
Verbos que terminan en "-e" solo se añade "-d":
live - lived
arrive - arrived
change - changed
Verbos que terminan en consonante + "y", se cambia la "y" por "i" y se añade "-ed":
study - studied
carry - carried
try - tried
Verbos monosílabos que terminan en vocal + consonante, se dobla la consonante final y se añade "-ed":
stop - stopped
plan - planned
grab - grabbed
Uso en oraciones:
Afirmativas: Sujeto + verbo en pasado simple + complemento.
She played the piano.
They started the project.
Negativas: Sujeto + "did not" (didn't) + verbo en infinitivo + complemento.
She didn't play the piano.
They didn't start the project.
Interrogativas: "Did" + sujeto + verbo en infinitivo + complemento + "?".
Did she play the piano?
Did they start the project?
Marcadores temporales:
yesterday
last week/month/year
ago: two months ago, three days ago... ( hace dos meses, hace tres días...)
in + año (in 2022)
on + día (on Monday)
at + hora (at 3 o'clock)

Os dejo dos ejemplos de un breve texto sobre Carnaval.
FIRST EXAMPLE
Carnival in my town
There was a vibrant parade through the streets. There were amazing floats. There was a band playing lively music, and there were dancers in spectacular costumes. There were masks of all shapes and sizes, some funny, some frightening. There were food stalls with delicious pizzas. There was a huge crowd watching the festivities. There was a stage in the town square, ready for the evening's party. And finally, there were lots of fireworks.
SECOND EXAMPLE
Carnival in my town
The Carnival was amazing! There was a huge parade with colorful floats. There was a fantastic band playing drums, and there were many dancers in sparkly costumes. There were lots of food stalls selling delicious ice creams. There were fireworks at night, We were so happy!
There wasn't a single person who wasn't wearing a mask. There was a huge crowd! Some people were confident in their costumes, but others were a little nervous. I was so excited ! One boy was embarrassed because his mask fell off !. There weren't any sad faces, everyone was having fun. It was the best Carnival ever!
