We would like to thank Norlon Builders for allowing us to take photos and timelapse videos to keep Metropolitan's congregation and supporters of London Symphonia up to date during the renovation!
This first video was done as a test of the camera we are using to create our timelapse videos. The camera is the DJI Action 2 camera. A very small camera with a lot of features! This video was shot in 4K. The time lapse was for a period of 5 hours with a picture every 20 seconds. The 20 second interval creates a video that is 30 seconds long. We found that the action goes by too fast, so this YouTube version was slowed down in Final Cut. In the future we will set the timelapse to 5 hours with a picture every 10 seconds, producing a 1 minute video.
Note - Photos are from the morning when the timelapse video is being set up. The timelapse is a 5 hour segment condensed into 1 minute.
After one full day of construction! Things are moving fast.
Removing the organ console.
The disassembly of the front of the sanctuary has now basically been completed. Pictures and video will start up again when the assembly of the new platform begins.
