My Camino is completed!
2022- St. Jean to Ponferrada. (575km).
2018- Ponferrada to Santiago (225 km).
Not including when I was lost (haha)
Thank you to Rob Stapleford (2018) for suggesting we go for a ‘stroll’. To Jim and Bjoern (2018) for ‘fixing’ my feet. To the congregation of Metropolitan United Church (London) for their support, encouragement and notes of kindness along my pilgrimage.
Finally, no words can express the gratitude I have for the glimpses of generosity, compassion and surprise that our Living God offers in our ‘one wild and precious life’.
Thank you to all who followed my adventure. I was glad to have your company, along ‘the way’.
Cruz de Ferro
I carried two smooth stones. If you have not walked the camino- it symbolizes letting go of something - you throw the stone over your shoulder and walk on. And if you have walked the camino- I carried two small stones - one for a dear friend who couldn’t complete the camino (yet) and the one I carried in 2018.
All side of the highway walking today. Nothing exciting.
