This Easter Island Moai tissue box holder is a large 3D model to print. Since our Makerspace got 4 x Creality K1 Max in late 2023, the Moai tissue box model is a good test for its large printing volume. I first found a Moai model on Thingiverse, then using TinkerCad, I made it a large model enough to holder a normal 21 cm x 11.5 cm x 9.5 cm tissue box. The printing was successful and fast (still needs about 12 hours to print), and quite satisfactory watching the timelapse video recorded from K1 Max. The original recorded video on K1 Max was about 120MB and 3'18" in length. I edited it in iMovie to reduce it down to 25 seconds.
Below are some pictures of this Moai when it was printed and a tissue box was installed.
If you also have a large printer such as Creality K1 Max, and would like to print one, you can download the STL file from my Thingiverse page for this thing.
