Coffee Capsule Storage

This Coffee Capsule Storage is Designed and 3D printed by Sumesh Swaminathan (SAM)

Introduction

I made this storage because many coffee machines don't have enough space to store coffee capsules, and leaving them around can make a mess. This storage is designed to keep the coffee capsules organized and easily accessible.

This is the first version, and it has a simple box design because the 3D printer can only make smaller sizes. In the future, I plan to make an improved version with advanced technology like a fingerprint or ID scan to access the coffee capsules. I will print that version 2 & 3 to fit perfectly with the coffee machine. This capsule storage will be placed under the coffee machine for easy use.

Prototype Coffee Capsule Storage  Ver.1

I finished making the first version of the Coffee Capsule storage using 3D printing. Now, I am going to make two more versions that have lights and sensors to open and close the drawer. We also need to create a space in the design to hold a battery and microcontroller for the lights. I'm currently looking into the best way to make the drawer open and close smoothly. I'll share the designs and 3D models as soon as they're ready.

Prototype Coffee Capsule Storage  Ver.2

In this version 2, there are lights integrated inside the black box. The backbox has a battery inside it which fits behind the Scube Design logo, and the black projected part you see in the picture closes the space where the battery goes. The next version of this storage will have a special way to open and close it, like using a sensor or fingerprint.
