Cocoyasi City is the former Cocoyasi Village, which has become much more industrialized due to Nami’s fame rising. The city has become a centerpiece in the East Blue for intellectual minds. Roads are full of engineering marvels and prototypes.
A collection of artifacts and interesting facts throughout the East Blue. The main attraction of the Cocoyasi Museum is Nami’s World Map which the museum has a copy of. Mysteriously, the last portion of the Grand Line is missing from the map.

Conomi Islands is a balanced economy with a superior economic income than most islands because of the attention it receives from the World Government in combination with proper management by the Council of Cartographers.
Conomi Islands has many trees and mountains, but Cocoyasi City is fairly flat and deforested because of the buildings that have been put in place. It is not uncommon to find trees between buildings or backyard gardens.
When the Age of Warring transpired, Conomi Islands were one of the few archipelagos to be unaffected by the mass swarm of war that erupted. The establishment of the 145th Marine Branch enabled the island to adequately protect itself and grow stronger in technological avenues. The creation of Cocoyasi Museum enabled the world map to be put on display for everyone to see.
With the exception of the final parts of the Grand Line, everything had been documented by Nami of the Straw Hat Pirates. This drew in intellectuals from around the world to study and find themselves estranged from everything that wasn’t their passion. Through this development, Cocoyasi Village soon developed into a city with many noble families rooting their entire lives to live here and study Nami’s map.
The World Government also highly valued the information and map in the museum, causing them to reinforce the strength of the 145th Marine Branch even more so.
Throughout the streets of Cocoyasi City, people can find all sorts of industrial prototypes in the works that could very well be the future of the world.
One important power in the city is the council of cartographers, a ranking schema that acknowledges superior cartographers will have more say in what goes on in the city.
