When finding the focus of your search for resources, you should consult your 5 whys and consider the root issue of your research question.  You may find that your research topic has multiple avenues for exploration.  Due to the cyclical nature of Action Research, you may find yourself focusing on one area, collecting data, and coming back with more refined questions that guide your focus further. 

An annotation is a type of summary that refers to a specific resource, such as an online article or journal entry, that allows the reader to analyze it's appropriateness for use based on this description or evaluation. The annotation helps a reader understand and analyze if a document will be useful, even before reading the source in its entirety.
