The Congo lion (Panthera leo azandica) is a lion subspecies native to Africa. Having a golden-yellow colored fur-covered body, they are truly the king of their habitat. Unlike other lions, the Congo lions prefer staying in the grasslands and open scrublands of Congo over the forests.
