Clathrus archeri, commonly known as octopus stinkhorn or devil's fingers, is a fungus which has a global distribution. Using rDNA, Geastrales, Gauteriales and Phallales form a monophyletic group and eventually diffierentation of Nidulariales and Tulostomatales within the euagarics clade.
