Here and now: encouraging presence and awareness of the current moment.
Self-awareness: enhancing understanding of one's thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations.
Environmental & social connection: deepening the sense of connection with one's surroundings and with others.
A selection of calm and relaxing music, as well as music with various rhythms and emotional tones
A spacious and obstacle-free area for comfortable movement.
20-25 minutes.
Preparation phase: gather participants in the designated area. Explain the dynamic meditation activity and encourage them to wear comfortable clothing and remove shoes if preferred.
Execution phase:
Begin with participants forming a circle, standing, closing their eyes, and taking several deep, mindful breaths to center themselves in silence.
Start playing calm and relaxing music, inviting participants to move slowly to the rhythm, promoting awareness in every movement.
As the music continues, encourage participants to explore different types of movement: walking slowly, gently turning, lifting arms, leaning forward or backward, all while maintaining mindfulness and feeling each movement in their body and its connection to the ground.
Environmental and social connection: invite participants to extend their awareness beyond their bodies, noticing their connection with the environment and other participants. This can be done by feeling the texture of the floor, the air temperature, or the energy of others around them.
Musical transition (optional): change the music to a different rhythm and observe how participants adjust their movements, exploring various emotions and energies.
Closing the dynamic meditation: gradually lower the music volume and ask participants to stop and close their eyes. Invite a few deep breaths to close the meditation.
Dynamic Meditation can be adapted by adjusting movement intensity for physical or sensory needs, offering seated alternatives, modifying the tempo based on group energy, and allowing different musical or nonverbal cues to guide the process.
Initiate a discussion about the experience, asking how they felt, what sensations they noticed, and how the mindful movement affected them. Encourage participants to incorporate this mindfulness practice into their daily lives, reminding them to bring awareness to every movement they make.

Improved emotional and physical well-being.
Enhanced sense of connection with the environment and others.
This activity can be adapted to different group sizes and settings, ensuring all participants can comfortably engage in the movements and reflections.
