Using Blocks to Teach Place Value

Students learn place value using math manipulatives. This sheet can be laminated and used as a tool for students to organize the base ten blocks in the correct place value. Tip: Have your students pick a number from a deck of cards or roll dice to build numbers using Legos to represent ten base blocks. They can be challenged by building bigger numbers.
