Laser X

Laser X was a ruthless paramilitary organization founded in 2020 by a former canyon war commander named Darius Vale. Emerging from the ashes of a collapsed government presence in the western canyon territories, Laser X quickly became one of the most feared militant groups in modern history. Their identity became iconic almost immediately: soldiers wearing heavily armored red-and-black dirt bike uniforms with reflective visors, motocross insignias, reinforced chest plating, and high-speed combat helmets. The organization treated warfare like a brutal sport, using modified military vehicles, attack bikes, armored convoys, and towering combat machines to dominate wasteland territories. Darius Vale himself stood apart from the others, always appearing in a white dirt bike suit with black stripes, symbolizing his authority over the movement.

Laser X originally began during the infamous Canyon Wars of 2020, where two rival factions fought for control over abandoned military territory after federal forces collapsed in the region the year before. Both sides constructed enormous tripod war machines piloted by soldiers inside armored cockpits, stomping through the canyon floors while exchanging artillery fire and laser bombardments. The conflict lasted months and destroyed entire canyon settlements. Eventually, Darius Vale’s faction killed the opposing commander during a decisive assault. Instead of wiping out the surviving enemy troops, Vale personally met with them inside the burned remains of a destroyed tripod fortress and proposed a treaty. The two factions merged together under a single banner, becoming Laser X with Vale as its founder and supreme commander.

After the Canyon Wars ended, Laser X evolved from a territorial warband into a full military power. Their scientists and engineers abandoned piloted tripods and began developing fully automated Laser X walkers that could remain dormant for years before activating when movement or hostile activity was detected nearby. Even years after the organization’s collapse, travelers still report discovering inactive tripods buried in forests, deserts, caves, and abandoned highways. Many scavengers have died after unknowingly approaching one, only for the machine’s red sensors to suddenly illuminate before it attacks anything within range. Entire regions remain dangerous because of these forgotten machines silently waiting for targets.

Laser X soon became the greatest enemy of the legendary duo Mike and John, two men regarded as the greatest heroes in the town’s history. Together, Mike and John had defeated monstrous threats, exposed corrupt military forces, and even ventured into the Skeleton Realm itself to wage war against the Skeleton Royal Family and its undead armies. Laser X viewed the two men as the ultimate obstacle preventing total control over the region. Battles between the organization and the duo became legendary, with entire highways collapsing during chases and forests being set ablaze during firefights between Laser X convoys and Mike and John’s forces.

In secret, Laser X engineers eventually discovered ancient weapon blueprints resembling the infamous Death Star concept. Using stolen technology, salvaged reactors, and massive industrial facilities hidden underground, they constructed the X Star, a colossal orbital battle station designed to dominate Earth from space. The X Star served as the organization’s ultimate military achievement, housing thousands of troops, aerial deployment systems, automated defense cannons, and entire launch bays filled with attack craft and rocket-equipped soldiers. From orbit, Laser X launched coordinated invasions against cities and settlements, beginning the catastrophic Earth War of 2022.

The final battle became the largest conflict the world had ever seen. Laser X deployed nearly all remaining forces from the X Star, flooding the skies with drop ships while automated tripods marched across the ground alongside dirt bike infantry divisions. Entire neighborhoods became warzones as civilians and resistance fighters joined Mike and John in defending the planet. During the climax of the invasion, Mike infiltrated the X Star itself while John coordinated the ground resistance. Fighting through corridors filled with Laser X soldiers using rocket boots, Mike reached the station’s core reactor while being pursued by the last surviving twenty crew members. Despite sustaining massive damage, he overloaded the core and escaped moments before the X Star exploded in orbit, raining flaming debris across the atmosphere.

As Earth celebrated victory, Laser X collapsed almost overnight. Thousands of members were captured, imprisoned, or killed during the aftermath. However, the organization never fully disappeared. Small groups of surviving soldiers fled into forests, abandoned military bunkers, and canyon territories, continuing to survive as scattered remnants of the once-massive force. Rumors persist that hidden Laser X facilities still exist underground, guarded by dormant tripods and forgotten weapons systems waiting to reactivate. The image of the red-and-black dirt bike soldier remains one of the most feared symbols in modern history, and many believe Laser X is only sleeping rather than truly dead.
