Dr. Maxon Marson

🧬 ORIGIN STORY

Dr. Maxon Marson was once the leading mind of the Joke Comic League, a brilliant and respected scientist hired in 1975. Known for his unmatched intellect and creative genius, he was tasked with constructing the league’s first interdimensional portal. In early 1990, he powered the machine for its inaugural test.

However, tragedy struck. As the portal roared to life, a loose cord snagged around Maxon's ankle. It began pulling him in violently as the gravitational field intensified. While fellow JCL scientists scrambled to shut it down, the cord snapped, severing Maxon from their reality.

Inside the rift, Maxon witnessed bizarre, incomprehensible landscapes before encountering a towering humanoid with a static-filled television for a head. The being reached out and physically pulled him deeper into the dimensional current. Since then, Maxon Marson has been missing.

His current status is unknown, but reports from dimensional travelers and captured cult members claim that Maxon is still alive—drifting between realities while being hunted by the Watcher, a cosmic being trapped outside Reality-0. Maxon holds the knowledge to disable the spell keeping the Watcher from entering the JCU's universe, making him the most valuable—and endangered—man across the multiverse.

Hyper-Intelligence

Maxon possesses a genius-level intellect, far surpassing normal human limits. He specializes in dimensional physics, cosmic energy manipulation, and exotic engineering.

Multiversal Navigation

Exposure to the interdimensional rift gave Maxon the ability to instinctively sense dimensional tears and paths through alternate universes. He can travel through some of them unaided if nearby fractures exist.

Survival Adaptation

Maxon's body has mutated slightly due to long-term exposure to dimensional instability. He can survive in non-Earthlike environments for extended periods and adapt to new laws of physics within foreign dimensions.

Dimensional Flux Residue

After being pulled through the portal, Maxon's body absorbed traces of dimensional flux energy, granting him brief bursts of superhuman reflexes, strength, and temporal resistance during moments of danger.

Interdimensional Toolbelt

Crafted using alien tech from various realities, Maxon wears a toolbelt equipped with gadgets capable of manipulating gravity, displacing light, and temporarily freezing time in small fields.

Anchored to Reality-0

Because of the cosmic curse placed over Reality-0, Maxon cannot return without immense risk. Prolonged presence within Reality-0 causes unstable feedback in his body, potentially ripping him apart. He can only appear for short periods through cracks in space or astral projections.

☠️ Arch-Nemesis: The Watcher

Backstory: The Watcher is a being of unfathomable knowledge and hunger for control. Banished from Reality-0 by ancient magic, he has since fixated on Maxon as the key to his return.

Weapon: Bounty Hunters, psychic influence, and ghostly forms visible only to his cult followers.

Goal: Break the seal that locks him out of Reality-0 by using Maxon’s mind to reverse the protective spell—at any cost.
