The Air Rifle Team is tied to the Civilian Marksmanship Program and is designed to teach cadets the importance of patience, physical and mental control, and discipline. To accomplish this goal, the practice of shooting air rifles is used to teach these fundamental concepts. The Team shoots every week, while also going over proper safety and handling of air rifles at all times.
