Please visit our Unit webstore to order the Unit PT Uniform as soon as possible. There is a section at the top with the required items (pt shirt & pt shorts). If you elect to purchase the optional PT shirt & PT shirt & PT shorts you do not need to purchase both sets, just one set of either the required or the optional is what the cadets will need.

**Cadets will need to purchase plain white, crew neck T-shirts, and plain black dress socks if they do not currently own these.
The rest of the Uniform is issued free of cost to cadets during the Summer before the start of the school year. Uniforms that require alterations (usually hemming of pants) that cost can be billed to Huntingtown NJROTC at Spot Out Cleaners in Prince Frederick. We have an account for alterations with them.

Many uniform items are dry-clean only, we do not cover the cost of dry-cleaning. All uniform items are to be dry-cleaned and left in the dry-cleaning bag, with the tag on it, before turning the uniform in for exchange (cadet grew out of it, or before graduation). **Cadets are responsible for maintaining their uniforms in inspection ready state. Uniform items that are lost or damaged will need to be paid for by the cadet before a replacement item will be issued.

Fund Raising is part of the lifeblood of our Unit. The Navy supplies our books and uniforms and upgrades our Unit computers every few years. As such the year always starts out with cadets sending out the minimum required 10 fund raising letters. This minimum number is not a cap, cadets are permitted to send as many as they wish, but they must send at least 10.

Chaperone travel for all field trips and meets are covered by unit expenses
Academic Team: Team uniforms, meet fees, transportation to meets, food
Air Rifle: Armory, tools, rifles, targets, pellets, uniforms, target stands, scopes, scope stands, shooting mats, kneeling rolls, meet fees, transportation to meets, food, etc
Athletics Team: Team uniforms, workout equipment, meet fees, transportation to meets, food
Color Guard: Team uniforms, color guard performance rifles, flag slings, flag poles, flags, meet fees, transportation to meets and events, food, etc
CyberPatriot: Competition sign up fees, food
Drill Team: Team uniforms, drill rifles and maintenance supplies, guidon flag, garment bags, meet fees, transportation to meets, food
Orienteering Team: Team uniforms, training supplies, meet fees, transportation to meets, food
Scuba Team: Team uniforms, training supplies, transportation to training events and dives, food

As you can see this is an extensive list, and because of these activities unit fund raising is a year-round activity.
