Communications Department
The Communications Department is responsible for keeping cadets up to date and informed of Unit Events. To accomplish this the Communications Department updates the unit website in coordination with the Operations Department and the Public Affairs Department. The Communications Department also assists the Operations Department to maintain the Unit Calendar, both online and in the classrooms.
Comms Officer
Responsibilities
Primary: Major tasks include updating the unit website and calendar. Overlooking the department and making sure that everything is running smoothly with little to no complications.
Secondary: Minor tasks include ensuring that the signs are properly updated and making sure it gets done when needed.
Training: To train the Chief of Comms, they will slowly be taught how to update the website and calendar. After being taught how to do it, when changes are needed, it will be handed to the chief so that they have hands-on experience.
Comms Chief
Responsibilities
Primary: Major tasks for the Chief include helping the officer to update and maintain the unit website, as well as ensuring that the sign is properly changed every Monday.
Secondary: Minor tasks for the Chief include helping LPO’s to change the sign when necessary.
Training: The Chief of Comms is tasked with training the LPO’s to update the sign.

Responsibilities
Primary: Major tasks include updating the sign every Monday.
Secondary: Minor tasks include making sure the letter box is organized.
Training: As the LPO of the department, we are not tasked with training.
Extra: Ensure that we properly understand instructions so that when we are chief, we can train the LPO.
