Ordnance Department
Maintain and ensure the up keep of all rifles, swords, and guidons within both armories. Coordinate with drill and color guard teams to ensure rifles and swords are in good working order. Provide drill and color guard members with the ability to utilize and practice with equipment outside of school premises to progress their skills further. Coordinate with air rifle teams to assist in the maintenance of their necessary ordnance and other competition equipment. Repair all ordnance shown to be damaged at an ordnance members earliest convenience.
Ordnance Officer
Responsibilities
Primary: Ensure the responsibilities of the department are met.
Maintain department records and inventory.
Secondary: Oversee Ordnance Chief training of Ordnance LPO.
Spot check work performed by the Ordnance Chief and LPO.
Training: Train the Ordnance Chief in the skills required to handle the responsibilities of the department.
Extra: Coordinate with Drill, Color Guard, and Air Rifle, teams to ensure the functionality and longevity of their equipment.
Ordnance Chief
Responsibilities
Primary: Carry out tasking from Ordnance Officer related to Ordnance Department responsibility.
Provide input to Ordnance records and turnover binder to Ordnance Officer.
Secondary: Spot check work performed by Ordnance LPO.
Training: Train the Ordnance LPO in the skills required to handle the responsibilities of the Department.
Extra: Record condition of Ordnance on Ordnance Inventory Spreadsheet.
Ordnance LPO
Responsibilities
Primary: Maintain drill rifles and guidons.
Secondary: Maintain upkeep of Ordnance cabinet.
· Inform Ordnance officer of needed parts.
Extra: Direct those looking to checkout ordnance to the Ordnance officer or chief.
