Operations Department
The Operations Department regularly ensures team commanders are monitoring their upcoming events and assists with building the sign-up sheets and permission slips for teams, volunteering events, and special projects in order to assist Senior Staff in running smooth operations within the unit.
Ops Officer
Responsibilities
Primary: Major roles include ensuring team commanders are proficient in their positions as team leaders and coordinating event requirements and sign-up sheets to ensure events needs are met, along with finalizing event sign-up sheets prior to each event.
Secondary: Minor roles include being familiar with trip requirements, especially for drill, color guard, and athletic teams and assisting Senior Staff in special projects, to include AMI, field trips, parades, etc.
Training: Train the Chief in the required skills and tasks to maintain an efficient functioning OPS Department such as passing on knowledge of team departments and delegating tasks to chief.
Ops Chief
Responsibilities
Primary: Major roles include developing leadership skills by assisting Officer in ensuring team commanders are proficient in their positions as team leaders and coordinating event requirements and sign-up sheets to ensure events needs are met.
Secondary: Minor roles include carrying out tasking from SNSI/NSI, Senior Staff and OPS Officer.
Training: Train the LPO in the required skills and tasks to maintain an efficient functioning OPS Department such as passing on knowledge of team departments and delegating tasks to LPO.
Ops LPO
Responsibilities
Primary: Learn the skills required to be a contributing member of the OPS Department from the Chief.
Secondary: Carry out tasking from the SNSI/NSI, OPS Officer and OPS Chief.
