訪談及觀察部落耆老,蒐集泰雅藥用動植物知識,及耆老對幼兒學習此知識和如何評量的想法。
建立泰雅語音及文字資料庫,資料來源包括本研究資料、文獻和教材。接著運用語音資料庫發展AI語音系統,包括語音合成、語音辨識、雙語翻譯,及發音比對等四項系統。最後運用系統建置泰雅族藥用知識與族語AI網頁,讓幼兒能透過網頁的輔助,使用泰雅語發表及呈現STEM方案探究成果。
與幼兒園教師共同發展「泰雅族藥用動植物」STEM方案課程,並邀請泰雅族地區幼兒園實施方案課程及使用泰雅語AI學習網頁。課程實施後,評量幼兒在藥用動植物知識、科學實作、族語、及族群認同等學習成效。
By interviewing tribal leaders and observations in the fields, we collected Atayal knowledge about medicinal plants and animals. We also collected their thoughts on how young children learn the knowledge and how they can be assessed.
We established Atayal speech and text databases by collecting data from this study, literature, and teaching materials. The databases were used to develop four AI speech systems: text to speech (TTS), automatic speech recognition (ASR), neural machine translation (NMT), and pronunciation comparison. Finally, these systems were integrated to develop a website including Atayal medicinal knowledge and AI-assisting language learning interface. Young children can use this website to present and share their STEM project findings in Atayal.
We collaborated with kindergarten teachers to develop a STEM project on "Atayal Medicinal Plants and Animals" and invited kindergartens in Atayal areas to implement the project and use the website. After the projects, we will assess children's knowledge of medicinal plants and animals, scientific practices, Atayal language, and ethnic identity.
本網頁呈現研究團隊訪談及蒐集整理的泰雅藥用動植物知識,及多項泰雅語AI語音系統功能,可將華語翻譯成泰雅語、泰雅語翻譯成華語、轉譯泰雅語音成文字,並可以比對泰雅語音發音的標準程度。從幼兒到成人的學習者皆可利用此網頁學習泰雅藥用知識及泰雅語。
